Place garlic and onion in food processor; puree until smooth. Add soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, and white portion of green onions; blend until smooth. Add to zip top plastic bag with skirt steak; marinate steak 30-45 minutes.

Remove steak from marinade; pat dry. Warm to room temperature, 30 minutes.

Heat grill to medium-high heat. Place steak on grill, 4-5 minute per side; remove from grill to cutting board and rest 10 minutes. Slice steak in this slices against the grain.

Warm tortillas on grill. Assemble tacos by adding meat to tortilla along with lettuce, jalapeno, sesame seeds and crema.
